Senior Software Engineer, Vancouver
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Software Engineer. The candidate will work on the design and specification of new Fax API for the Mainpine boards, followed by co-coordinating the implementation and the rollout of this new API.

The candidates must be technically savvy, and be able to perform well under pressure and be very dependable, with strong programming skills.

Requirements:

• 7+ years industry experience in software development.
• Solid knowledge in C/C++ technologies.
• Strong programming skills with strong understanding of project cycles, software development environments, and source control techniques.
• Strong Object Oriented Design skills.
• Good Windows and Linux background.
• Experience with Open Source.
• Ability to effectively manage software projects, and take ownership of extensive development tasks if needed.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines.
• Has good judgment and is able to come up with solid solutions and recommendations to complex problems.
• Works with minimal supervision, adhering to overall department and company procedures.
• Working knowledge and detailed understanding of FTP, HTTP, SIP, TCP, UDP, IP protocols and functionality will be essential.
